Abu Dhabi photoshoots are built around the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque — white marble, reflecting pools and 82 domes that photograph differently in every hour of light.
Your photographer meets you near the mosque and knows which courtyards and colonnades stay clear of tour groups. The mosque is an active place of worship with a dress code that applies to photoshoots: shoulders and knees covered, and a headscarf for women.
The best light is the first hour after sunrise and the last before sunset, when the marble turns warm. Between May and September the middle of the day is too hot to shoot comfortably.
