Glühwein, fairy lights and the markets after dark

Berlin runs dozens of Christmas markets through December, and they are not all the same. Gendarmenmarkt is the elegant one, Alexanderplatz the big one, and the smaller markets around the Kulturbrauerei and Charlottenburg are where you go if you would rather not queue. Your photographer meets you at Café La Perle and works the stalls, the lights and the streets around them — mugs of Glühwein, the fairground rides, the crowds and the quiet corners between them. Both options are built for the season. Rudolph is 30 minutes and 20 photographs, with sparklers and a Christmas hat to play with. Santa is an hour and 50 photographs, and includes a drink afterwards — Glühwein or hot chocolate, your choice. Berlin gets dark by four in December, so the markets are lit for most of the usable afternoon. That is the look most people are after, and it is worth saying which you prefer when you book. Your edited photographs arrive within 48 hours.
