About the destination
Photoshoots in Madrid
Madrid photoshoots run at two settings: El Retiro park with its Crystal Palace and boating lake, and Plaza Mayor in the old centre.
Your photographer meets you at the park gates or under the Plaza Mayor arcades.
El Retiro is at its best early, when the light comes through the trees and the rowing boats are still tied up. The Crystal Palace glows from inside in the late afternoon. Madrid summers are severe — July and August sessions are morning or evening only. Spring and autumn give long, warm light and comfortable temperatures.
