Castello Sforzesco is the other side of Milan. Five minutes from the Duomo crowds you get red brick ramparts, a moat, three interior courtyards and the long green run of Parco Sempione behind it — and far more room to move than Piazza del Duomo ever gives you. It works for the shoots that need space. Families with small children who won't stand still, groups of friends, anyone who would rather not be photographed with four hundred strangers in the background. The courtyards give you shade at midday, which matters in a Milanese summer, and the fountain on Piazza Castello catches the light from late afternoon onwards. The walk from the castle gate through Parco Sempione to the Arco della Pace is about ten minutes and gives you three distinct looks in one session — brick and battlements, trees and lawns, then a triumphal arch. Longer packages use all three. Your photographer meets you at the fountain on Piazza Castello. Sessions run from 30 minutes up to 90, and your edited photographs arrive within 48 hours.

Where do we meet?
At the fountain on Piazza Castello, directly in front of the main castle gate. It is two minutes from Cairoli Castello on the red metro line, and your photographer will confirm the pin by message the day before.
Do we need a ticket to go inside the castle?
No. The courtyards, the ramparts and Parco Sempione behind are all free to enter and that is where we shoot. The museums inside are ticketed and we do not photograph in them.
How is this different from the Duomo shoot?
Space and quiet. Piazza del Duomo is the icon but it is busy from mid-morning to dusk. The castle gives you three courtyards, a park and a triumphal arch with a fraction of the crowd, so it suits families with young children and larger groups better.
What do the four packages include?
Standard is 30 minutes and 20 edited photographs. Premium is 60 minutes and 50 photographs. Super Premium is 90 minutes and 75 photographs. Ultimate is 90 minutes, 50 photographs and a 30-second edited video.
