A dress, a train several metres long, and the Atlantic behind you

A flying dress session is built around one thing: a long dress with a train several metres deep, caught by the wind and the sea breeze so it fills the frame. It is the most dramatic shoot we run, and it is designed for one person in front of the camera. Your photographer meets you at The Corner Mall in Adeje and walks down to Playa del Duque, a wide golden-sand beach on the south-west coast with the Atlantic open behind it. The space matters here — the train needs room to move, and this is one of the few beaches on the island with enough of it. The wind is the whole trick. Too little and the fabric hangs; too much and it wraps. Early morning and the hour before sunset usually give the steadiest conditions, and your photographer will work with whatever the Atlantic is doing on the day. Your edited photographs arrive within 48 hours.
