About the destination
Photoshoots in Venice
Venice photoshoots run at the Grand Canal and San Marco, plus a set of gondola sessions — private, romantic, photo-and-video, and a styled costume edition made with VDE.
San Marco at dawn is the shot: the piazza empty, the basilica catching the first light, and the lagoon flat. By nine it is full. The Rialto and the back canals of Cannaregio and Dorsoduro hold quiet water and reflections all day.
Winter brings acqua alta and fog, which photographs extraordinarily well. There is also a Christmas session and a studio shoot.
