Versailles sessions run 90 minutes and include 75 edited photographs, because the estate is enormous and worth the time. Your photographer works the formal gardens, the fountain terraces and the palace façade. The parterres and the Grand Canal give you symmetry nothing else in France matches. The gardens are free most of the year; on Musical Fountains days there is a charge and the fountains run. Come early, before the coaches arrive from Paris, when the low light across the parterres is the best of the day.
