Vienna Christmas Market Photoshoot

Private photoshoot

Rathausplatz, the city hall and the lights in the park

The Christkindlmarkt on Rathausplatz is the grandest of Vienna's markets — the city hall lit up behind, the trees in the park strung with lights, and the stalls filling the square in front. Your photographer meets you at Café Landtmann on the Ring, a few minutes' walk from the square, and works the market, the park and the arcades around it. Rathausplatz is at its best once the city hall lighting comes on. Vienna gets dark early in December, so that happens mid-afternoon and runs all evening — a long, generous window compared with most cities. Both options are built for the season. Rudolph is 30 minutes and 20 photographs, with sparklers and a Christmas hat to play with. Santa is an hour and 50 photographs, and includes a drink afterwards — mulled wine or hot chocolate, your choice. Your edited photographs arrive within 48 hours.
